How do I register?

Registration is open! Click HERE to get started. You will only be able to register one day at a time.

In order to secure a booking with Childcare at Purgatory resort, 48 hour notice is required in order to best serve our guests. With availability we may be able to accommodate “walk-ins.” Please email or call us to inquire about availability if you’d like to make a reservation within a 24 hour time frame.

Will my child go outside?

We do our best to go outside! We have an array of toys that we play with outside such as, strider bikes with ski attachments, sleds, and snow castle building toys. Depending on conditions and safety concerns, we may choose to stay inside and engage in fun games and activities. We will not force a child to go outside if they do not want to go.

What activities are offered?

We value free play and encourage children to engage in play with each other. Our activities include indoor and outdoor games, as well as toys and age-appropriate arts and crafts. Children may watch videos during the day, especially at rest time.

Is staff background checked?

Yes, background checks are required per our guest-care facility sanction.

Is lunch included?

Yes, as well as snacks!

What types of snacks are offered?

Our snack options include graham crackers, goldfish crackers, cheese sticks, applesauce, fruit, and other kid friendly snacks. We do not provide milk.

Will my child take a nap?

We will do our best to accommodate your child’s rest and nap needs. Generally, we have a rest period after lunch, around 12:00 pm MST. Rest mats and toddler cribs are provided. We follow Colorado safe sleep guidelines.

What happens if my child misbehaves?

If a child exhibits behavior that is harmful to themselves or another child they will be addressed in a positive manner and every effort will be made to redirect the child. In the event the behavior persists, the child care staff will contact the parents or guardian. This may result in the child being picked up early.

How will I be contacted if my child has an accident, illness or injury?

Every attempt will be made to contact the parents or guardian through the cell phone numbers provided at check-in.

Can I visit my child during the day?

Unless you are nursing, we recommend parents to only come back when you are ready to pick up your child for the day. Visiting children during the day is often difficult for your child or other children in the facility. If you would like to receive an update during the day please discuss this with staff during check-in.
