All Terrain Pioneers Freestyle

2019 All Terrain Pioneers (ATP) Freestyle

This 8-session skiing and snowboarding freestyle program will focus on introductory terrain park skills and etiquette in a non-intimidating, safe environment. First airs/grabs, 180’s, flatland tricks, first jibs and park safety are all part of the series content.

ATP–Freestyle is open to children and teens, ages 8 to 17, who are comfortable with all green terrain, riding chairlifts and are starting to explore blue slopes and venture into terrain parks. **Previous experience with terrain parks is not required, but your Pioneer must, at a minimum, be independent on all Green terrain, confident riding the chairlift and able to ski or snowboard all day.

Program Highlights:

  • 80% focus on introductory freestyle elements –first jibs/airs/grabs and terrain park safety

  • 20% focus on all-mountain skills – steeper terrain, bumps, trees, NASTAR, carving, mountain etiquette, and more

  • Specific scheduled class content guarantees progression throughout the winter

  • Your child will develop as an independent snow slider, build skills for the entire mountain, and make new friends
