Activities

What are your hours of operation?

When we are open, during the summer, we plan to operate 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Are there any summer season passes available for activities?

Yes! The Summer Adventure Pass offers access to daily activities, with the exception of the Purgatory Bike Park.

What activities will be open this summer?

In the summer, we offer the Inferno Mountain Coaster, alpine slide, scenic chairlift rides, treasure panning, boating and paddle boarding on Twilight Lake, and a kids’ off-road track.

UTV/RZR/Jeep rentals and tours are also available through Colorado Outback Adventures.

How do I get tickets?

Our summer tickets may be purchased in person or online. We highly encourage you to purchase in advance online as the process moves along more smoothly when you’ve pre-purchased. Upon your arrival, you will be directed to the ticket office where you will present your ticket purchase confirmation and receive a wristband that provides access to our activities.

What’s included in a ticket?

Please check back for summer 2024 details.

Guests will enjoy access to the following summer activities: scenic chair lift rides, alpine slide, Inferno Mountain Coaster, treasure panning, paddle boarding and boating on Twilight lake & kids’ go-kart track experience.

Lift-served mountain biking tickets are sold separately from the Day Ticket. UTV/RZR/Jeep tours and rentals are booked separately through our partner Colorado Outback Adventures.

What is a Double-the-Fun ticket?

In summer 2023: This option is indicated in green on our ticket calendar. On these designated dates, you pay the same price as a regular Day Ticket, but you get the opportunity to enjoy the alpine slide and mountain coaster twice (subject to availability)! Learn more.

Stay tuned for summer 2024 updates.

Can I purchase a full-day activity ticket?

Please check back for summer 2024 ticket information.

Do I have to make a reservation?

While reservations are not required, all tickets must be purchased online. We recommend purchasing ahead of your trip to ensure a smooth process when picking up your wristbands from the ticket office.

Is there an age/height restriction for activities?

For the Inferno Mountain Coaster: Drivers must be minimum 52 inches. Passengers must be a minimum 36 inches with a driver 16 years or older. Must be at least 9 years old to ride alone. For the alpine slide: Riders must be at least 3 years old and 36″ tall to ride with an adult. Riders must be at least 6 years old and 48″ tall to ride alone. For the kids off-road track: Drivers must be at least 10 years old to drive the Hammerhead. Riders must be at least 5 years old to ride with an adult.

I don’t see an option to purchase tickets on certain dates. Why is that?

If you do not see the activity session you are looking for on the calendar, we are sold out. Please select another date.

What is your weather policy?

[updated summer 2023] Weather in the mountains can change quickly and unexpectedly. Our Operations Team follows a strict inclement weather protocol with guest and employee safety as their top priority. Up until the time that session ticket wristbands are redeemed you can receive a full refund. We begin printing session tickets 15 minutes before the session starts in order to give guests the most possible time to cancel tickets for impending weather before they are issued.

A prorated resort credit may be available should inclement weather force the suspension of operations after the session wristband has been issued. The prorated resort credit will be calculated by the remaining time in the session in 30 min blocks. Note that credits are not calculated from the time that wristbands are issued and are not based on the usage of the ticket. Please plan on using all of the time during your session to get the best value out of your ticket. If you reserve a PM Session in July or August please expect weather delays as we frequently have afternoon thunderstorms.

Are activity tickets included in my lodging reservation?

Activity tickets are not included in your lodging reservation and must be purchased separately from your lodging accommodations.
