Fort Lewis College
Mountain Town + College Town
Visit Durango to ski, live here to learn. The mountains, rivers, and canyons of Southwest Colorado not only shape the town of Durango and its active residents but also Fort Lewis College and the intellectual backbone it provides for the region.
FLC’s academics start with small classes on a beautiful campus and a devoted faculty, and then infuse a sense of place and locally available fieldwork opportunities to create an unparalleled college experience.
Serving the community, FLC hosts cultural and performing arts events on campus, leads heritage preservation at the Center of Southwest Studies, and tackles regional issues such as water resources and rural small business development.
