Purgatory Ski & Snowboard School: Lesson Checklist
Now that you’ve booked your lesson, here are the next steps.
For your lesson, we want to set you up for success — both before your arrive and during your visit. To ensure that you have everything you need ahead of your lesson, please review the following :
1. Reserve lift tickets and rentals
If you did you not reserve lift tickets and rentals at the same time as your lesson, please make sure to take care of this now.
Ski and snowboard equipment rental reservations are required at least 72 hours in advance.

If you only need rentals, click below.
2. Book your stay
We offer comfortable and convenient accommodations right in the heart of the resort. When you stay at Purgatory Resort, you don’t have to worry about driving to the mountain, finding parking and getting to your lesson on time. Most rooms are located within walking distance to the base area, or a short shuttle ride to the Columbine Beginner Area.
3. Check the snow report the day before your lesson
We highly recommend checking the weather before your lesson and planning accordingly. Pack extra layers, and bring plenty of water.
On snowy days, please allow adequate time to get to the resort ahead of your scheduled lesson. We recommend leaving Durango 1-1.5 hours ahead of lesson on days where road conditions are not clear.
Thanks for your booking your lesson with Purgatory Ski & Snowboard School! We look forward to your visit.
