A Few Season Pass Details
Q: What’s the difference between the Child Power Pass and the FREE season pass for kids 4th grade and younger?
A: NEW this year! Kids who are entering fourth grade (or younger) for the 2018-2019 school year receive a FREE season pass that’s valid at all of our ski areas, including Purgatory, Hesperus, Arizona Snowbowl, Pajarito and Sipapu. This pass provides direct to lift access and no other winter or summer benefits. The Child Power Pass (which is valid for kids ages 12 and younger at time of purchase) provides this same access to all of our ski areas, plus FREE days at our partner ski areas, mountain discounts and more. Plus, when you purchase the Power Pass, you can enjoy $100 off our new Summer Adventure Pass and Mountain Bike Power Pass!
Q: How do I pick up a pass for my grade school student?
A: Kids who are entering fourth grade (or younger) for the 2018-2019 school year receive a FREE season pass that’s valid at all of our ski areas, and Purgatory also partners with Colorado Ski Country USA to offer discounted passes to 5th and 6th graders. When you’re picking up your pass, be sure to bring a copy of your child’s report card or a document that proves your child’s grade level. For more information about these passes, call 970-385-2168, or click here.
Q: What will the college discount be this year?
A: This year, Purgatory is offering the Young Adult (19-24) pass in place of the College Pass. No credits or proof of enrollment required.
Q: What’s the Parent Transferable Pass and how does it work?
A: The Parent Transferable Pass is exclusively for parents of kids ages 3 and younger (a birth certificate is required when you pick up your pass). This pass allows two parents to ski on a single pass. Gone are the days when you had to buy *two* lift tickets or *two* season passes during a season when parents spend most of their time splitting their time on the slopes (one parent skis while the other watches the future ripper). Both parents will share a single pass.
Q: Is the Parent Transferable Pass available for parents 4 year olds? What if I have a 3 year old and a 10 year old?
A: To qualify, parents must have at least one child no older than 3 years old.
