“I Heart Purg” Weekend!

It’s Presidents’ Day weekend, as well as Valentine’s Day weekend, so we have some great activities planned to help you celebrate!

Featured Activities:

Puppy Love!  La Plata County Humane Society will be in the plaza on both Saturday and Sunday with lots of dogs to snuggle with.

Show Us Your Love!  On Valentine’s Day, we will dispatch several “Love Patrol” secret agents around the resort, armed with vouchers for free chocolate-covered strawberries.  They will be on the lookout for anyone getting affectionate with a loved one — moms and kids, sweethearts, etc.  We will give away 100 boxes of chocolate-covered strawberries throughout the day.

Fire Dancing!  Catch a fantastic show on the beach on Saturday afternoon!

Valentine’s Dinner!  Purgy’s has a special dinner menu lined up for this special occasion.

Teen/Family Dance Party:  On Sunday evening at the DMI.

Snow Sports:  This weekend features a Telemark clinic on Sunday and a USASA Halfpipe Competition all weekend.

Teacher Appreciation Day:  Discounted lift tickets and an apres-ski party for La Plata County school employees, family, and friends on Monday.

“Red & Pink” Shopping Specials:

On Saturday and Sunday, save 20% at Purg Sports on outerwear  that is predominantly red or pink, and 20% at Alpine Chic on clothing and accessories that are predominantly red or pink.

• Morning Flow Yoga, 8:30am at the DMI.
• Snowboard and Skier Halfpipe Competition begins today.
• Puppy Love! 11am – 1pm.  La Plata County Humane Society will be in the plaza with adorable dogs to play with and adopt.
• Meditation, 11:30am at the DMI.
• Dante’s Deck Party, sponsored by Steamworks Brewing, 12 – 2pm.
• Fire Dancing on the Beach, 12:30, 2:00, and 3:30pm.
• The Assortment plays Purgy’s, 2:30 – 5:30pm.
• Robby Overfield plays Paradise Pizzeria, 5:30 – 8:30pm.
• Kids Night Out, 5:30 – 9pm.

Sunday
