Purgatory Resort is the finish line for the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic Quarter Horse bike race! Riders in the Quarter Horse will tour the 25 scenic miles from Durango to Purgatory Resort. After riding through the gorgeous Animas River Valley, you’ll tackle a vertical climb of more than 2,300 feet to finish among food, fun, and festivities in the Village Plaza.

Come cheer on these riders as they finish their 25-mile journey from Durango. The first riders are expected to cross the finish line around 10:00am.

REV is an awesome series put on by experienced race coordinators that encourages everyone to participate, from the first-time racers and the 9-5'ers all the way up to the pros and everyone in between. 

We are excited to be hosting the most complete 3-D archery festival in the country once again!  Come on out and enjoy three days of great competitions and activities. 

The greatest chainsaw carving competition in the country returns to Purgatory Resort!  Come watch these amazing artists create magnificent works of art right before your eyes!

The Devo Days Bike Festival is back for its 2nd year! Let's gather and have fun on bikes as a community! We are inviting families, individuals, supporters, and bike riders of all kinds and ability levels to join us in sharing the love of cycling!

The Motorcycle Hill Climb is BACK! This is one of the most exciting events of the Four Corners Motorcycle Rally. Watch as motorcycles attempt to ride straight up the front of the mountain. 

This year, the Downhill Rockies Finals will take place right here at Purgatory Resort! We're stoked to have Trail Party Enduro and Downhill Rockies back, once again!

Mountain Marmot is an epic trail race. The course is simple—start at the bottom of the mountain…run to the top and back. Sounds hard? It’s definitely a challenge. But think how great you will feel when you make it to the top!
