Transportation Services

All public transportation is currently limited to 50% of vehicle capacity and masks are required while in transport.

Whether you arrive by car or air, many guests find that having a car is not necessary once you’re settled in at Purgatory Resort. Dining, shopping and après activities happen right at Purgatory Resort Village.

Accessible parking is available and designated at five locations throughout Purgatory Resort.

Parking Lot Shuttles 


A FREE shuttle helps guests get between activities, with stops at the Village Plaza, Kids Off-Road Track, Twilight Lake and Bucks Livery. The shuttle follows our summer operating schedule (click here to view). The shuttle drives continuous loops, which take about 15 minutes.  Please call (970) 426-7282 if you need to request a ride to a specific place between the hours of 9am 4pm. Outside of these hours please contact the front desk at (970) 385-2100.


Purgatory’s FREE parking lot shuttle service runs from 9:00am-4:00pm, every day from the arrival court to both upper and lower Columbine parking lots, Columbine area, and the Gelande overflow parking.


Skier Shuttle Service (offered winter season only)

To & From Durango

Purgatory offers round-trip Skier Shuttle Service to and from historic Durango for $10 per person on the weekends and select holidays. Please refer to the hyperlinked calendar and schedule below for details:

Skier Shuttle Fare can be paid in cash, or you can purchase a “Skier Shuttle Punch Card” at the following locations:

If you want to expand your alpine adventure to include the surrounding area, Purgatory offers Call & Demand Shuttle Service to and from the resort. We can even help you with a grocery run.

Cascade Village Shuttle Service

Purgatory Resort offers round-trip transportation between Cascade Village and the Resort for guests staying at Cascade Village. Please contact the Cascade Village Front Desk for further information on shuttle times and pick-up location.

$5.00 fare, one-way, per person, for transportation outside of scheduled times.
