Position Title:Lead Bartender
Reports To:Unit Manager
Department:Food and Beverage
Oversee all bar operations, which includes service, stocking, cleaning, and deposits. Mix and serve bar drinks as requested, using excellent guest service skills.
Order liquor, beer, wine, and keep bar stock levels in order.
Reconcile cash and credit card deposits.
Open & close the bar and restaurant space.
Mix and serve bar drinks.
Maintain bar area, glassware, etc., in a clean manner.
Stock bar as necessary and complete breakage reports.
Capable of all opening & closing duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Solid bar service knowledge and interpersonal communications/customer service skills. Basic record, management and accounting skills. Must be 21 years of age or older.
Alertness, precision, ingenuity, analytic ability, persuasiveness, patience, reasoning, judgment, concentration, initiative, speaking ability, aesthetic sense, and tactile, auditory, olfactory and visual discrimination are all necessary abilities.
Education or Formal Training: None required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years bartending. Supervisory experience preferred.
Material and Equipment Directly Used:
Cash register, credit card validation machine and cleaning agents.
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
95% of the workday is spent in an indoor, mountain-top restaurant environment. 5% of the workday is spent on chairlifts, skiing to and from restaurants in varying cold, snowy, windy, and wet conditions. 80% of the workday is spent standing and 15% is spent walking.
Occasionally lift and carry objects up to 150 pounds. Constantly operating controls, reaching for, feeling, fingering, and handling objects. Constantly using near and far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color, and field of vision.
Constant exposure to fumes and odors. Potential hazards include mechanical, electrical and toxic/caustic cleaning supplies.Apply Now
