Purgatory’s summer activities are open 9am – 5pm!

Due to recent snowfall, the Purgatory Bike Park will be closed for our closing weekend, October 13-14, 2018. The Inferno Mountain Coaster, plaza activities, retail stores, and base area restaurants will be open for the last weekend of summer operations.  Please call the Ticket Office at 970-385-2168 with any questions.

Enjoy over one dozen rides and attractions throughout the resort and surrounding area with Total Adventure Ticket.

Featured Activities

Inferno Mountain Coaster

Opening August 25th: With a length of 4,000 feet, the Inferno mountain coaster will zoom passengers through nine switchbacks, one 360-degree circle and multiple dips while covering over 300 vertical feet. The coaster will be open in both summer and winter, giving riders an adrenaline rush nearly all year.

Alpine Slide

Feel the fresh wind in your face as you speed down the track, or take a leisurely ride and enjoy the spectacular views. The chairlift carries sliders up the mountain for a more than half-mile descent.

Purgatory Bike Park features podium-quality terrain, new trails, and an established pathway to the over 400 miles of backcountry singletrack that has put Durango on the map in the mountain bike hemisphere.
