To our valued guests, employees and community members we first want to say thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work to address COVID-19. Purgatory Resort remains committed to being open daily through April 12 and all scheduled events are still on. Please continue to check our website for the most up to date information.

As of 11:15 a.m. on March 13, the following new policies are in effect:

Advance Purchase Lift Tickets, Lessons, and Rentals

All guests who have pre-purchased a lift ticket, lesson and/or rental product by March 13, 2020, for the remainder of this season, may choose to reschedule within one year from the first day of your reservation. There’s no rush to rebook!

How does it work? Send us a quick note to [email protected], with your arrival date in the subject line of the email, and let us know if you do not intend to visit by our closing date of April 12, 2020. At that point, our staff will convert your existing reservation into a dollar-value credit that can be used toward the purchase of future products within one year of your original arrival date. At a later date in the coming weeks, we will email guests with their credit confirmation information. When you’re ready to select your new trip dates and/or make an online purchase using your credit, you will use your confirmation number to make a new booking using the credit. 

Lodging Guests 

Existing Reservations through April 12: Rebook your ski trip at your convenience. We’ll provide you with a resort credit equal to your lodging balance on the account to be applied to the new reservation. The new reservation must be made for stays within one year of the original arrival date.

Existing Summer Reservations for arrivals through October 2020: Cancel at least 7-days in advance and receive a resort credit equal to your lodging balance on the account to be used toward rescheduled travel within one year of the original arrival date. 

New Summer Reservations until further notice: Book a summer vacation with confidence! All new summer reservations from March 13, 2020, until further notice, will be accompanied by a 7-day advance cancellation policy with a full refund. We continue to target Saturday, June 20, 2020, as the opening day for our summer activities, as planned.

Did you purchase Trip Insurance? We are honoring all refunds that included Trip Insurance at the time of purchase.
