Opening Day Preview 2019/2020
Opening Day at Purgatory is Wednesday!
And this week’s storm cycle couldn’t have come at a better time. According to Open Snow, Purgatory can expect to see 2-6 inches prior to our Opening Day, with Thursday and Friday’s storm expected to bring this week’s total snowfall to almost 30 inches!
If you needed a little more convincing as to why you should come hang out with us this week, here’s what’s in store for you this Opening Day and into the weekend.
The Purgatory Village Express Lift 1, Lift 2 and Lift 7 will operate from 9 am to 4 pm. We will offer top-to-bottom skiing with West Fork, El Diablo, Middle Bank, Demon and more open for business. Terrain park features will also be set up.
Opening Day Festivities and More
Come early to get the party started. The first 100 skiers and snowboarders in line for first chair will receive complimentary pancakes and sausage from 8am to 8:45am. Coors will also host an après-ski YETI cooler giveaway at the Bear Bar from 3pm to 4pm.
Want to spend Thanksgiving with us? We are now accepting reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Purgy’s, with seatings offered at 12pm, 2:30pm and 5pm.
